Many fine law firms name themselves after their attorneys, or founding partners. Indeed that is somewhat of a tradition in our profession. Tomoka Law is not your traditional law firm – our attention to our clients sets us apart. From the very beginning, Tomoka Law will always focus on You – our clients.

Our motto here at Tomoka Law, PLLC is “A special kind of caring.” We’re client focused and justice centered. I believe that caring for my clients begins with assessing the particular circumstances of your legal issue and your specific goals. I then tailor a resolution that best fits you. Sometimes strong negotiation will resolve the matter best. However, I will provide zealous advocacy in a court of law when that is the appropriate remedy for your case. Perhaps you need to have documents drafted or reviewed. That service is provided as well.

After serving our country in the U.S. Air Force, I attended our nation’s oldest law school – The College of William and Mary School of Law, founded by Thomas Jefferson in 1779. I chose William and Mary because of its excellent national reputation and ranking, and its focus on training citizen lawyers for the communities we serve. At Tomoka Law, that community involvement is evidenced by the establishment of Tomoka Law Cares – which provides scholarships to high school graduates, and supports other charitable efforts throughout our local community.

One of my best life decisions was marrying my wife, Dr. Annemarie Etienne Hester, M.D., a physician / ophthalmologist practicing in Volusia and Flagler counties. Our family includes two teenage daughters, three grown sons, and a Boxer puppy named Apollo.
