Team Tomoka – News, Notes, & Events
Tomoka Law promotes client and community wellness during the CoVid – 19 Pandemic:
Summer is for neighborhood barbecues, pool parties, and watermelon eating contests. While many of us are finding safe ways to gather this summer, these kinds of celebrations are off the table for thousands of families across Central Florida.
“Many of the families we serve are the ones hardest hit by the pandemic,” explains Irene Taylor, co-founder of The IMPACT Outreach Ministry of Central Florida. The ministry is one of 65 community partners supported by Second Harvest Food Bank’s summer food program.
Because of your generosity, families with kids 18 and under can turn to places like IMPACT Outreach for free nutritious meals this summer. Some locations provide a hot meal Monday through Friday, while others distribute a box for families to take home with enough breakfast and lunches for an entire week.
“These meals have brought families out of isolation and given them new hope,” says Irene. Parents can bring kids to a safe, welcoming place. Having a routine and interacting with each other has lifted their spirits.
Thanks to you, hope isn’t canceled this summer. Instead, kids have full bellies, parents have fewer worries, and everyone will have a brighter tomorrow.
Thank you for your commitment to ending hunger in Central Florida.
“It was a pleasure buying toys and gifts for a needy family in Volusia County.
We wish you and yours Happy Holidays and many Blessings in 2021!”
“Tomoka Law, PLLC was delighted to honor our local Veterans and First Responders by supporting the “Flags for Heroes” project sponsored by the Daytona Beach West Rotary Club.”
Tomoka Law, PLLC Supports Volusia Thanksgiving Basket Brigade
Alvis Hester Esq.
The Volusia Thanksgiving Basket Brigade was a fun family event where volunteers come together in the spirit of contribution, create and deliver Thanksgiving boxes to families in need in our community.
We believe that when a community comes together to make a difference, true MAGIC can happen.
